The Little Explorers' Program

Starting from 2019, our kindergarten has included the “Explorer” programme in our curriculum from 2019 for our K1 and K2 students. This programme is a partnership between the Boys Brigade and Girls Brigade Singapore.
​
Having realise the growing need to cater to the number of younger children in Singapore, The Boys’ Brigade in Singapore partnered with The Girls’ Brigade Singapore to develop a brand new programme for both Boys and Girls aged 5 through 6 (K1 and K2). ‘The Explorers’ is a Community Development Programme birthed from this new initiative.
Our young Explorers are taken on a
2-year journey spanning four Discovery Islands which help them:

Gymnastics

BearyFun Gym is an established school that specializes in preschool gymnastics program which equips young children with the essential movement skills and nurturing them to be confident children in a fun environment. Its curriculum focuses on developing children’s loco-motor development, muscular strength, flexibility, body stability and coordination.
English Speech & Drama
– by Treasure Chest Education
Treasure Chest Education is a premier enrichment education provider. The Speech & Drama program aims to build confidence, expressive and communicative skills in a social setting. It also develops effective listening skills and improves on articulation, voice projection and speech clarity. Besides nurturing creativity and imagination, this program also develops performance skills and self-confidence through drama. This enrichment vendor has served with our kindergarten for more than 10 years.
Computer / Robotics & Coding

Ednoland has been providing computer as well as robotics and coding programs for our children for the past ten years. Its program is designed to expose your child to the exciting world of technology. It aims to arouse your child’s interest, and ignite his/her passion for innovation. Our children from Nursery to K2 will also learn about robots and simple programming through engaging and fun hands-on experiments, and acquire invaluable skills such as problem-solving, communication, analytical thinking, project management and creativity.
Science

Our science enrichment program sparks children’s natural curiosity and love for discovery. From watching seeds sprout to making simple ‘magic’ experiments, children explore, question, and discover how the world works. Every session is packed with hands-on fun that sparks creativity, builds problem-solving skills and strengthens language development. Most importantly, it nurtures confidence and inspires a lifelong love for learning
Gardening

Our gardening program helps children explore nature through hands-on activities. It teaches responsibility, patience, and teamwork while developing their motor and sensory skills. They learn how plants grow in different environments, exploring the science of soil, water, light and nutrients. Seeing the results of their effort boosts self-esteem and gives a sense of accomplishment. This experience also inspires a lifelong love and respect for the environment.
Art

Our Art Enrichment program nurtures creativity and self-expression through age-appropriate exploration of art elements and famous artists.

For Nursery and K1 children, the focus is on exploring fundamental art elements such as lines, shapes and colours. Through fun, hands-on activities, children develop their observation skills and begin to express their ideas visually.

In K2, children deepen their appreciation by exploring the works of renowned artists like Wu Guanzhong, Pablo Picasso, Yip Yew Chong and Piet Mondrian. They learn to recognize different styles and techniques, encouraging critical thinking and inspiring their own creative expression.
