CNY 2024
The children celebrated Chinese New Year with joy and excitement. The celebration with joy and excitement. The celebration included festive songs and fun games, allowing the children to enjoy the festivities together. It was a simple yet delightful way for the children to experience the traditions of the season and share in the joy of the Lunar New Year.
The children were introduced to the Easter story through a meaningful activity using five Easter eggs. Each egg represented an important part of the Bible story, beginning with Adam and Eve, and leading up to Jesus' love and sacrifice on the cross.
As the eggs were opened one by one, teachers shared the different parts of the story in a simple and engaging way that the children could understand. Through this storytelling experience, the children were able to see how God's love has been present from the very beginning and how Jesus came to save us.
To inspire our students to dream big, we invited a national athlete, a national bowler, to share his journey, aspirations, and achievements. He encouraged children of all levels to follow their passions, work hard, and believe in themselves as they pursue their dreams.
Following the sharing session, students were invited to come dressed as the occupation they dream of pursuing in the future. From doctors and teachers to astronauts and artists, the school was filled with bright and imaginative young dreamers proudly showcasing their aspirations.
The children were also engaged in role-play activities such as bandaging an "injured" friend, putting out a pretend fire, pretending to be astronauts and making pancakes. It was a joyful and inspiring event for the whole school, encouraging children to imagine their futures while learning the values of perseverance, determination and following their dreams.
